BHM

The Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) program offered at Pokhara University (PoU) is a four-year academic program designed to prepare graduates for careers in the hospitality and tourism industry as managers, leaders, and entrepreneurs with a strategic business approach. This program combines management theory with a range of hospitality courses and internships.

The BHM program follows a semester system and is divided into eight semesters. Over the course of these eight semesters, a total of 122 credits are required. The program includes thirty-five courses, including a project work and reporting component. During the seventh semester, students have the opportunity to participate in an internship.

The main courses covered in the BHM program include Business Communication, Production, Business Mathematics, Accommodation Operations, English, Tourism and Hospitality, Rooms Division Management, Business Statistics, Computer Applications, and Beverage Management, among others.
